Sports Therapy Massage for the Way You Actually Move

Your body carries you through a lot in a typical week, from early workouts and long hours on your feet to weekend games and everything in between. Sports therapy massage is my way of giving the muscles behind all that effort some focused, personal attention.
It’s a targeted massage, centered on the areas of your body that activity tends to affect most. I use deep muscle work, assisted stretching, and trigger point therapy to help ease tension and support the way you move. Every session is tailored to what your body needs that day.
You don’t need to be a professional athlete to book one. If your routine keeps you moving, I’d love to help you take care of the body that keeps with it.
Where It Fits in an Active Week
There is no single right time to book a session. Some people schedule one before a busy stretch of activity, so their body feels more comfortable going in. Others wait until afterward, when their muscles feel tight or worn down from a hard workout or a demanding week.
And some simply like having a session on the calendar as part of taking care of themselves, whether or not a big event is coming up. However you choose to fit it in, I’ll shape the session around your activity level and how your body feels that day, so it works with your routine instead of adding to it.
Is Sports Massage Right for You?
Not sure whether sports massage is right for you? It may be if any of this sounds familiar:
● You exercise or train on a regular basis
● Your days keep you on your feet for long stretches
● Your work or your sport has you repeating the same movements
● You notice tightness or stiffness once you’ve finished moving
If you found yourself nodding along, even to just one, a session could be a good fit. And if you simply want massage to be part of how you take care of yourself, that’s the reason enough to book.
What a Session Feels Like
Your 90 minutes begin with a conversation followed by the massage. I’ll ask how you’ve been feeling, what you’ve been up to, and where you’d like me to focus. From there, your session may include deep muscle work at medium-to-firm pressure, assisted and dynamic stretching to support mobility, and trigger point therapy for spots where tension runs deeper. Zen for Pain Healing Liniment is part of the treatment too, complementing the hands-on work.
Firm doesn’t mean painful. Pain isn’t the goal, and I can adjust the pressure to what feels right for you.
Your Body Isn’t the Same Every Week
Sports massage works best when it responds to what’s actually going on. Maybe you’ve stepped up your training. Maybe work has been stressful, or a new tight spot appeared out of nowhere. Training, work, daily routines, and stress can all change where your body holds tension.
That’s why I don’t run the same routine for every client, or even the same client every time. I spend extra time on the areas that feel tight, overworked, or in need of a little more attention, so your session stays focused on what your body needs.
Rethinking When to Book
Plenty of us treat massage like a last resort, something to schedule only once discomfort is too loud to ignore. I’d love to change that. Sports massage can be a regular part of caring for an active body.
It can support comfortable movement, help you stay consistent with your activity, and ease muscle tension after a workout or a demanding week. It also gives you a stretch of time to slow down, release tension, and reset whatever comes next.
Making Time for Your Body
Your body has been showing up for you all week, so it’s worth setting aside time to return the favor. A sports therapeutic massage is one way to do that: a time to ease built-up tension and take care of yourself, tailored to how you move and how you feel.
Ready to make that time? Gogo’s Corner is a mobile service, so your session takes place at your location, with no travel before or after. Book your session today and give your body the personalized care it deserves.
